Two mobile 130-litre vessels with integrated mixing, heating and control
Veenbrink RVS designed and manufactured these two mobile preparation vessels, each with a net capacity of 130 litres. The vessels are used for the controlled and repeatable preparation of pharmaceutical products. All product-contact parts are made of AISI 316L stainless steel. The internal surfaces and welds are finished to Ra < 0.8 µm.
Each vessel is equipped with a 4 kW rotor-stator mixer operating at 3,000 rpm, an internal baffle and electric heating mats fitted around the shell and underneath the bottom. Temperature, pressure and level are continuously monitored. The PLC/HMI control system executes the production steps based on predefined time, mixing speed and temperature setpoints. A batch report is generated automatically after each production run.
For COP cleaning, each vessel is equipped with two CIP spray pipes. The pressure vessels were designed in accordance with EN 13445 for a design pressure of up to 1.5 barg and comply with PED Category II, Module A2.
