
Vendor Documents
Depending on the customer’s requirements, the Vendor documents can consist of, for example:
• Statements relating to the PED and the Machinery Directive.
• Safety, installation, operating and maintenance manuals.
• Design documents, including P&IDs, mechanical drawings, electrical drawings (e-schematics) and design calculations.
• Design specifications, including the functional design specification (FDS), hardware design specification (HDS) and software design specification (SDS).
• Component lists, including the complete materials list, valve list, instrument list, accessories list and list of recommended spare parts.
• Material certificates of both welded components and elastomers.
• Welding documentation, including the welding card, welding methods used (WPS), welding method qualifications (PQR), welder-specific qualifications (WPQ) and welding log lists, if any.
• Test documents, such as hydrostatic test reports, boroscopic test reports, riboflavin test reports, surface roughness reports, Notified Body (NoBo) visitor reports, calibration reports and validation reports (FAT, SAT, IQ, OQ).
• Traceability matrix that shows where, when and how the requirements are met.
The manufacturing report is usually supplied digitally, but can also be provided in hard copy upon request.
