AISI 316L pressure vessels for the pharmaceutical industry
For this human health application within the pharmaceutical industry, we delivered twelve buffer vessels, each with a net volume of 900 litres. The pressure vessels have specified pressure conditions of 0 / 3.5 barg and were designed and manufactured in accordance with EN 13445 and the Pressure Equipment Directive (PED).
We manufactured the vessels from AISI 316L with an internal and external surface finish of Ra < 0.8 µm. The required non-destructive examinations were performed under the supervision of an independent Notified Body (NoBo).
We also prepared the associated project documentation in accordance with Good Documentation Practices (GDP). Before delivery, all twelve buffer vessels successfully passed the Factory Acceptance Test (FAT).
