Hygienic product transfer, mixing and temperature control in pharmaceutical production
These three mobile process vessels each have a maximum working volume of 350 litres and are used for the hygienic transfer and handling of process liquids within the production environment.
The product-contact parts are manufactured from AISI 316L stainless steel with an internal surface finish of Ra < 0.8 µm. Each vessel is equipped with a magnetically coupled bottom-mounted agitator for mixing working volumes from 5 to 350 litres. An integrated jacket enables heating and cooling across the entire working-volume range. The vessels were designed for a pressure range from -1 to 3 barg and a design temperature of up to 145 °C.
The vessels and process fittings were designed to be fully drainable. A removable static spray ball was installed for CIP and SIP cleaning. The mobile process vessels are also equipped with a sight glass and lighting, an ergonomic push-and-pull handle and a local control cabinet for operating the agitator and controlling its speed.
