Pressure tank built under the Pressure Decree (PED)
This pressure tank has been designed and built in accordance with the strict guidelines of the Pressure Equipment Directive (PED). The design was constructed pursuant to the design code EN 13445, which included structural calculations and all necessary non-destructive testing, such as X-ray examination and penetrant testing. The entire process of design, production and testing of the tank was carried out under strict supervision of an independent Notified Body (NoBo). This ensures compliance with all safety and quality requirements.
This pressure tank with a design pressure of 15 barg and a volume of 1,000 litres is constructed with a wall thickness of 10 mm. The tank is automatically welded using a plasma machine, which ensures a high degree of precision and reliability.
For annual maintenance, the tank is equipped with a manhole with davit. Due to limited space on site, this manhole is not placed on top of the tank, but integrated into the hull, which ensures convenient access and maintenance.
