Pressure Tank Built Under the Pressure Equipment Directive (PED)
This pressure tank is designed and built according to the stringent guidelines of the Pressure Equipment Directive (PED). The design was executed under the design code EN 13445, with all necessary construction calculations and non-destructive tests, such as X-Ray and penetrant testing, conducted. The entire process of design, production, and testing of the tank was carried out under the strict supervision of an independent Notified Body (NoBo), ensuring compliance with all safety and quality requirements.
This pressure tank, with a design pressure of 15 barg and a volume of 1000 liters, is constructed with a wall thickness of 10 mm. The tank is automatically welded using plasma arc welding, ensuring a high degree of precision and reliability.
For annual maintenance, the tank is equipped with a davit-mounted manhole. Due to limited space on site, this manhole is integrated into the body of the tank rather than placed on top, ensuring easy access and convenience for maintenance.
