These plug-and-play systems come complete with automation and control via a 15″ touch panel for heating, cooling, stirring and on-site cleaning of the pressure vessel. The lighting can be turned on, valves can be electronically operated via the touch panel and any alarms are displayed. In addition to temperature, weight can also be measured using the provided hygienic load cells. The systems are fully integrated with other utilities on site and communicate, among other things, with a Clean-In-Place (CIP) installation.

What is special about these skids is that Veenbrink RVS has designed its own heating circuit suitable for use within the ATEX zone. This compact temperature control unit (TCU) heats the jacket of the vessel with a circulation heater. The jacket is cooled with a chilled water supply (CWS) and an integrated heat exchanger, with the water circulating around the jacket via an in-line pump. The purpose of this is to maintain the medium at the desired temperature. The vessels are also electropolished internally and equipped with all required instrumentation and accessories in terms of temperature, pressure, level, cleaning and inspection.

The pressure systems have been designed, manufactured and tested in accordance with design code EN 13445 to comply with PED guidelines. Additionally, the systems are suitable for use in an ATEX zone 2 3G IIB T4. All required non-destructive tests have been performed, including hydrostatic pressure testing, X-ray radiography and boroscopic examination. The Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) has been carried out on-site at Veenbrink RVS. Veenbrink RVS will provide the Site Acceptance Test (SAT), Installation Qualification (IQ) and Operational Qualification (OQ) at the end-user’s location.

Mobile vessels 50L to 900L with ATEX compliance and TCU These 15 mobile vessels, with a capacity ranging from 50 to 900 liters, have been designed, manufactured and validated for use in a Grade C cGMP production environment.
